Odett’s POV
I was setting before a fireplace and thinking about my life. Suddenly my phone rang 📞

Incoming call from Derek 📲
Odett: Hello.
Derek: It’s me. I just want to hear your voice and say goodbye… I found a new job in other city. Anymore I don’t work in the university.
Odett: It means that we will not see each other again?
Derek (sad voice): I think so.
Odett (cries): Derek, I….
Derek (sad voice): ….. Goodbye, Odett.

He put down the phone. He feel pain. But it was the only way. He think that he did the right thing.
The call is over.

Odett: I think…I love you…
The tears run down my face. I feel emptiness. Now It so hurts.

Odett: Derek! We need to talk.
Derek: Yes,I wanted to talk with you,but you avoided me.
Odett: Sorry…
Derek (takes Odett’s hands): With you I feel alive,my heart beats stronger…
Odett: Please,stop it! I’m married!
Derek: Do you love him?
Odett: He is my husband.
Derek: This is not an answer!
Odett:Maybe for you,but not for me. Can we stay friends? I don’t want to lose you…
Derek: I don’t know…
